I went to Tokyo with the ol' trustworthy Olympus OM-1. It's one of the OG SLR cameras and there is no doubting its quality as the controls are convenient and easy to understand, and the picture quality is also top-notch. It's not as heavy as most SLR cameras like Nikon FM, or Yashica, so travelling with this camera wasn't too hard. I haven't practiced a lot with this camera since I'm used to using the pocket analog camera instead but I can definitely say that my skills increased a lot as I learn more about the world of film cameras, and Tokyo is a great place to practice it. Every street is an organized chaos and look picturesque no matter where you are. Whether it be at a convenient store or mere sidewalks. Perhaps my mistake was not taking enough film pictures as I also brought along a digital mirrorless camera and often had to switch between the two. It was quite shameful as there were plenty digital pictures that I thought would've looked much better had it been taken with an analog camera. Tokyo overall was a dream place for analog photography, it has a distinct architectural style and plenty of natural lighting. Tokyo is the past and future co-existing in the same dimension; there is no present, just look around.
